London First Aid course

our approach

With numerous training companies offering first aid courses, choosing the right one can often be time consuming and confusing. That's why we've taken the steps to simplify your choice and guarantee the quality of our courses and instructors.

Our instructors undergo a meticulous and innovative training program with ITC. After their initial training, they are required to observe and assist on courses with experienced trainers before being signed off by an external validator to deliver their own courses.

In this way we ensure they are competent to deliver the courses to a high standard. With mentor support, ongoing research and continuous professional development, our trainers remain at the forefront of first aid regulations and teaching methods.

First aid taught well can be exciting and enjoyable, making it memorable - important when you consider it's a life saving skill. It's what makes us passionate about delivering courses which make a difference for you. We take time to understand your needs, research specific areas and collaborate with other instructors to get the best out of a course for you.

The ITC First Aid awarding body are HSE registered (HSE number 1670/96) to certify First Aid at Work courses using trainers they have validated, along with having their Sport and Outdoor first aid courses approved by the QCA, who have a rigorous quality assurance and robust, transparent governance.

London First Aid trainers are validated by ITC to deliver both HSE First Aid at Work as well as the Sports and Outdoor first aid courses. These standards are applied to all the courses we deliver, whether required or not.

All of our courses have an end of course evaluation form, where participants assess our performance. We use this feedback to make relevant changes to our courses, improve teaching techniques and hone our instructors delivery methods. We value this feedback and take onboard any comments which will improve what and how we teach.
